DUTY TAX AND CUSTOMES
International Shipping Restrictions / Regulations
All international shipments sent via YY Express Service follow the Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) method. This means that the receiver is responsible for settling any import duties, associated taxes, and all other fees incurred during customs clearance, in order for the package to be delivered.
Uploads of proof of value aren't optional, but they can make the clearance procedure more efficient. Examples of relevant materials can be sales invoices, receipts, or even a screenshot from a website showing the cost of the goods.
China Package Value limits for (Personal Use Purpose)
CHINA
Please note that any package exceeding the listed limit above may run the risk of not being cleared at customs and might be returned to the sender. Any additional cost that arises from such a situation will be the responsibility of the sender and/or the receiver.

Add Reference: You can use a "reference number" to effortlessly track and identify your shipment. It allows for the incorporation of both letters and numbers and can be linked to specific details of your shipment - whether it's a purchase order number, the name of a customer, or descriptive phrases like "20 boxes" or "Jacket for Richard."
Signature Options: This features different options you have for your package's delivery verification. For instance, if you're shipping a valuable item, you may select "Direct Signature Required," mandating that the package can only be handed over after the recipient personally signs the delivery slip.
Cash On Delivery (C.O.D): This means you pay for the goods at the time of delivery, rather than in advance. An example could be ordering furniture from a local store and opting to pay cash upon delivery instead of paying upfront.
Package Contains Lithium Batteries: If a package contains lithium batteries, certain special handling and shipping regulations may apply, due to safety concerns. For example, if you're shipping a new smartphone that comes with a lithium-ion battery, it would fall under this category and must follow specific handling, packaging, and shipping guidelines.
Waiver of Signature/ Leave at Door Delivery: For this type of delivery, the courier can leave the package at your doorstep without requiring a signature. An example is when you order items online and choose this option, your package will be left at your specified address, even if no one is home to receive it.
Indirect Signature Required Delivery: For indirect signature deliveries, the courier needs a signature from someone at the delivery address, from a neighbor, a building manager, or someone at a similar address nearby. An example might be when you purchase a new phone online and require it sent to your address, but due to your work schedule, your neighbor signs for it.
Direct Signature Required Delivery: This method of delivery means that the courier must obtain a signature directly from the receiver. In this case, the package would not be handed over unless the recipient directly signs the delivery slip. As an example, if you are sending valuable documentation via courier, you can choose this option, ensuring only the intended recipient, or their authorized representative, receives and signs for the package.
Here's a handy tip for shipping: The cost of sending a package is greatly influenced by its weight and dimensions.
You can calculate the price of shipping based on either the actual weight or the dimensional weight of the package. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the height, width, and length of the package (in inches) and rounding up to the nearest whole number.
You can convert the dimensional size to weight (in pounds) by dividing by 139 for YES POST™ shipments or 120 for YES Ground™ shipments.
You'll want to compare both dimensional weight and actual weight, as your shipping cost will be based on the greater of the two. So, if you're sending a lightweight item in a big box, it could be more cost-effective to use a smaller box if possible.
